Privacy policy
Last updated October 2026
This policy explains what jasonmcclain.com collects and how it is used.
What you send us
When you use the booking, mentorship or contact forms, we keep what you enter (such as your name, email, phone and message) so Jason’s team can reply. When you comment on an article, we keep your name, email and comment; your email is never shown. Comments appear only after approval.
Email list
If you join the email list, we keep your email address and name to send you new articles and announcements. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
Visitor statistics
The site counts page views without cookies. It records the page, the site that referred you and whether you used a phone. It does not store your IP address: visits are counted with an anonymous code that changes every day, so they can’t be linked over time. If Google Analytics is turned on, Google’s cookies and privacy policy also apply.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with services that help run the site, such as the email provider that delivers our messages, and only for that purpose.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, including under California law. Use the contact form and we’ll respond promptly.
